Age of Empires II is a 2D real-time strategy (RTS) game set in the middle ages.  
It contains thirteen playable civilizations. They are the Britons, Byzantines, 
Celts, Goths, Teutons, Franks, Mongols, Chinese, Japanese, Persians, Saracens, 
Turks and the Vikings. Players aim to gather resources, which they use to build 
towns, create armies, and defeat their enemies. There are five historically 
based campaigns, which constrict the player to specialized and story-backed 
conditions. There are three additional single-player game modes, and multiplayer 
is supported. The game won multiple awards, and has had a significant impact on 
all RTS genre games that have followed. 

This is the "Gold Edition", which features both the original Age of Empires II 
and the expansion pack which also fixes some AOE2 bugs.

To play Microsoft® Age of Empires II you need at minimum:

	2Mb/2D Video Card
	550Mb Hard Drive

	Optional: Soundcard with Headphones or Speakers



You must install "The Age of Kings" first

To install:
	Cut AOE2.ISO.  
	(Auto)Run the setup program.
