This update of Microsoft Train Simulator addresses several issues. 
There is also a separate Tools update that includes updated versions of 
Conv3ds and MakeAce, and updated technical documentation for creating cabs 
and converting shapes and textures to a format that can be used in Train Simulator.


To install the Train Simulator Update, unzip trainupdate.zip, then extract the 
file "trainupdate.exe" into the "root" of the Microsoft Train Simulator directory 
(and allow files to be overwritten).  


To install the Tools Update, unzip toolsupdate.zip, then extract the file 
"toolsupdate.exe" into the "UTILS" subdirectory of the Microsoft Train Simulator 
directory (and allow files to be overwritten).

Windows 11 users must place these four DLL files into the directory "Train Simulator".

TIP: After installing MSTS, consider not playing the game at all. Instead install and 
play the modern game "Open Rails", which uses the file structure in the installed MSTS.
