The Cycle Railway track cannot be sloped!
Ghost Train cars are not locked to the track, so keep drops to a minimum, as too steep a hill can send your cars flying off the track {s}. This is also the only ride in the game where cars can actually fly off the track (and crash) if they enter a curve too quickly.
A Hedge Maze layout cannot be sloped! Guests travel through a hedge maze in a similar manner as they navigate footpaths, and thus can become confused if the hedge maze is too convoluted.
The Miniature Golf will never require the services of a Mechanic! While the putting holes cannot be sloped, the pathways between them can be.
The Strategy Guide suggests that Guests can see a long distance from the top of the Observation Tower ride, so they won't get lost as frequently {s}, and that placing the Ferris Wheel ride on a scenic outlook will allow your guests to see a long distance from the top of the ride {s}. These statements are not true in the game, as a guests height above ground does not give a guest any awareness advantage.
